Cost-effective rod welding

The P1500 is designed to cold pressure weld most non-ferrous metals within the range 15 - 25mm diameter (copper) and 15 - 30mm (aluminium), depending on the hardness of the material. The machine is hydraulically powered and electronically controlled. The independent grip and upset forces are produced by an arrangement of hydraulic cylinders, and the control system provides automatic deflashing on completion of the weld.

The P1500 offers wire and cable manufacturers a cost-effective method of welding large cross sectional areas: power consumption is minimal and is limited to the hydraulic pump motor. Safe, reliable and quiet to operate, the P1500 complies with European standards and directives.
